Falcon Rotorspreaders

Every year hundreds of thousands of tons of manure are produced on South African farms. This valuable commodity can assist in replacing and building up the humus in the soil. The Falcon Rotorspreader can spread all types of manure, from dry chicken litter to liquid slurries, including matted straw bedding and compacted compost. This implement does the job simply, efficiently and with minimum maintenance.

The top opening of the Falcon Rotorspreader is very large and has an adjustable cover for easy loading, either by hand or with a front-end loader. The chains are wound around the rotor shaft before the hopper is filled. When the hopper is full, the lid is closed and the implement is ready to spread. The high-tensile steel flail chains shred and spread an even carpet of manure 3 m on the right-hand side of the implement. The spread rate is controlled by adjusting the forward speed of the towing tractor and also by adding or removing extension plates on the flail chain heads.

The Falcon Rotorspreader is available in two models: the F3000 and the F4200, both attaching to the tractor by a clevis hitch. The F3000 has a capacity of 3 m³ and is suited to applications such as dairies or piggeries, where the hopper is emptied on a daily basis. The F4200 has a capacity of 4,2 m³ and is suitable for applications where large volumes have to be spread from stockpiles.

All Falcon Rotorspreaders are supplied with appropriate, fully guarded PTO shafts and 28 high-tensile chains fitted to the rotor.
