Falcon Limespreaders

A large percentage of agricultural land requires periodic applications of lime in order to maintain the correct pH level in the soil. The Falcon Limespreader is efficient at spreading lime directly on to the ground.

The Falcon Limespreader is a tractor-drawn, wheel-driven implement with adjustable apertures at the bottom of the hopper. It has no PTO drive or gears, making it easy to use and keeping maintenance costs to a minimum. The tyres have an 8-ply radial construction and are suited for use on rough terrain.

The spread rate is controlled by a lever, which is also used to shut off the flow of lime at the headland. Two agitation shafts with paddles driven directly by the wheels ensure an even flow. The lime is discharged approximately 28,5 cm above ground level, limiting wind drift. The filling height of 98 cm makes it easy to refill.

The Falcon Limespreader is available in two models: the F400 and the F500. The F400 is a mounted limespreader, making it ideal to manoeuvre on sloping grounds. It has a capacity of 400 ℓ and a working width of 2,4 m, with 38 discharge holes at the bottom. The F500 is a trailed limespreader and attaches to the tractor by a clevis hitch. It has a capacity of 500 ℓ and a working width of 3,0 m, with 48 discharge holes at the bottom.

All Falcon Limespreaders are supplied with a lid and a locking mechanism, ready for work.
