Amazone Groundkeepers

Amazone mowers are versatile, tractor-mounted implements that can be used all year round: in spring and summer for scarifying and mowing, and from autumn through to winter for collection of leaves, hedge residues and twigs. The rugged, reliable Groundkeeper produces high-quality work and has been the ideal assistant for professionals for over thirty years.

The Amazone Groundkeeper can be linked to any tractor. Cutting height is individually matched to the relevant operation. The Groundkeeper is available in working widths of 1,2, 1,35, 1,5, 1,8 and 2,1 m, with collecting hopper capacities of 1,2 to 3,5 m³. 

The robust cutting gear of the Groundkeeper assures first-class cutting and collection performance. Even in moist grass, operation can start early in the morning. The reversible mowing blades and sharpened wing cutting blades offer a well-balanced combination of little wear and excellent mowing and collecting performance. Cleaning and maintenance operations can be performed easily, quickly and safely.

Owing to the special suspension of the knives on the big rotor the grass is repeatedly cut and chopped. For mulching, simply tilt the mulching flap of the Groundkeeper and the mown grass remains on the turf, in this way returning important nutrients to the soil. The large rotor makes it ideal for extensive maintenance of all green spaces and the rotor's high sucking action allows the Groundkeeper to be used for the collection of mown grass, leaves, twigs, acorns, chestnuts etc.

The conveying system is unsusceptible, even the collection of cans, paper and other litter in parks and leisure grounds is no problem.

All Amazone Groundkeepers are supplied with appropriate, fully guarded PTO shafts and slip-clutches.  The standard blade combination contains 50% reversible cutting blades and 50% sharpened long wing-blades. Additional blades can be ordered separately.
